monday monday

so it's the start of a new week, and i am excited to say that it has started quite nicely!

sold all the goods on my etsy(with the exception of 1 thing which i really wanted to keep anyways!)

which couldn't have happened at a better time, because i will be refreshing my shop later this week!

monday, i chose to wear a few of my fave brooches, scattered abstractly on my lapel.

i love that none of them really match but yet they somehow "work" as a team !

also sporting a brand "new" vintage purse that my aunt linda(who happens to read my blog!) hand picked for me for my birthday!  isn't it amazing?  it is in such excellant condition!!

being that it was a monday and i "overslept"- my hair was still wet(no time to dry) so i threw on my old knit hat (i love this hat).

i need to find me a few new hats to throw on- anyone have any suggestions?

"eco" friendly

lately, along with the majority of the population, i have been trying to be somewhat frugal with my spending.

it's def. been  huge and hard step for me, being that i love shopping.  but having money in the bank is def. a major priority right now for me.

that being said, i have been trying to maximize my wardrobe to the fullest extent.  plus, i feel, most wardrobe staples are seasonless, it all depends on how you work it...

for this ensemble, i started with the green printed cotton dress, then threw a grey gauzy tunic over that- giving my outfit an almost petticoat/tiered effect to it.  i also really like the texture it gave the look.

next, to keep myself somewhat warm, the finishing touch was this fuzzy sweater vest tunic i've had forever, and cinched it all in with a belt.

 and then, of course, is the accessory pick of the day!
